Recommended RV Stereo For Great Sound Quality
Question:
Hey Kevin, Great video, thanks so much. Can you tell me what system you installed? It looks like what I’m looking for. I don't need or want the dvd player but want the hdmi connections and really appreciate quality sound, so any recommendations, and it doesn’t have to be Jensen, would be appreciated. I love the plate that you made, so simple. Thanks,

The stereo in my video was the Jensen JWM30 or # JEN25RR if you look it up by our product numbers. It's a great option if you're just wanting to listen to music and don't need a DVD player. It has an HDMI input on both the front and back to allow you to easily hook in or hide your wires in the cabinet.
When it comes to RV stereos I'm going to have to stick with Jensen since they seem to have the fewest issues. I typically deal with a lot of troubleshooting with other brands of stereos, whereas with the Jensen brand I'm usually just going over how to wire in a new stereo. If I had to choose a stereo for you I'd say the # JWM60A if you want to be able to watch DVD's later on or the # JEN25RR if you're just using the stereo for music.
The plate I made out of wood is really simple to do, but you could get yourself a much nicer piece of material to make your blank out of and make it look factory. Since electronics have greatly reduced in size over the years I've been applying this concept to a lot of other items to help cover up the gaps when replacing parts in trailers or motorhomes.
