How To Troubleshooting A Non-Functioning RV Stereo System
Question:
My My Alpine Radio did not turn on this camping trip the watcher the the clock says 12 AM 12 PM. It turns on but none of them. I when I push the button to turn the power on it doesn’t come on the radio and we had a water leak down in the in the underneath where the radio is way down on the floor so I don’t know if that caused it to not turn on or if it was a fuse or what can I do to check it out

The only real troubleshooting you can do with a radio is to check that all connections are properly secure and to check the power. Typically there is a fuse on the power wire that you can check, but since you said it powers on the fuse is most likely fine. From there you can check the voltage to see if the stereo is getting a full 12 volts with a multimeter # PT89ZR. If not then the power source is the issue.
If it is getting a full 12 volts then the stereo may have internal damage and will need to be replaced. If this is the case then you'll want to pull it out and measure the cutout hole to find a comparable sized stereo. The Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A you were looking at requires a 9" wide x 6" tall x 5-1/2" deep cutout hole.
If you can get me the cutout dimensions I could try finding a compatible fit for your trailer.
