7k Slip On Disc Brake Kit that Fits Dexter Axles of

Question:

I have a fifth wheel with 7k Dexter axles the hubs/drums are integrated. I want to convert to disc brakes but Id also like to have the rotors separate from the hubs, and in most of the kits Ive seen the hubs and rotors are integrated. Is there a way to use my existing axles and do the disc brake conversion with hubs that are not part of the rotors, and if so what products do you recommend to achieve this outcome? Thanks.

The Hydrastar Disc Brake kit part # HSE7K-T1SO would be the correct place to start as this is a slip-on style rotor like you are wanting and comes with the best actuator out there. Then for idler hubs that would fit behind these you'd also need the part # AKIHUB-865-7-2-EZ-K and you'd be set.

This will give you the slip on style disc brake kit you are wanting that fits your 7k Dexter axles and also is widely considered to be the best system around due to speed and reliability of the actuator.
