Underbed Fifth Wheel Recommendation for a 2013 Chevy Silverado 3500
Question:
I am picking up a 2013 Silverado 3500 Crew Cab, Long Bed, Dually LTZ and need to decide on a hitch for the 5th wheel I just ordered. I currently have a 5th wheel camper that weighs about 14K lbs fully loaded. The 5th wheel I ordered is going to be about 12,800 dry weight. I think a 16K lb hitch might not be enough capacity. I want an under bed rail kit so that i have no obstruction in the bed other than the hitch legs. Is the Q20 hitch the way to go and if so, what installation parts and rail kit do I need. Thank you for your time and effort. Ill be having Auto Add-Ons shop in Tavares, FL do the installation for me.

For an underbed rail system confirmed to fit your 2013 Chevy Silverado 3500 long bed I would recommend you first start with the Reese Elite Underbed Rail Kit # RP30868.
Now for a hitch you have two options. There is a 20k option and a 27k option. If you determine you only 20k of capacity you would want the Reese M5 Fifth Wheel # RP30921. If you need 27k capacity you would want the Reese M5 Hitch # RP30922.
I attached an installation video for this hitch and rail kit for you to check out also.
The Curt Q20 that you referenced is a quality hitch but there is not an underbed rail option that will work with this hitch so I do not recommend it for you.
