Too Much Play in Pin for Lead Landing Gear Leg
Question:
on the lead jack side of my 5th wheel landing gear there is about a 1/4 turn of looseness in the shaft with the gear and motor removed. The follow side seems to have no play when moving the center shaft as if to go up or down. Do I have another issue inside the lead side leg? Thank you Don.

It sounds like you could use a rebuild, the Lippert Venture Lead Leg Repair Kit for 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear part # LC146059 is a fit for the lead landing gear leg. This should fix the issue of play inside the leg but if not there is something else going on and the leg would need to be replaced.
If you can provide me with dimensions of the lead landing gear leg, I would be happy to see if we have a replacement option for you. That said, I think the repair kit if your best option to start out.
