Availability of Brake Controller for 2023 Toyota RAV4
Question:
Hi I’m looking for a brake controller for a 2023 Toyota rav 4. It appears they are not available yet. I only see up to 2022. Can you inform when they might be available?

Any brake controller can be installed on your 2023 Toyota RAV4 as long as you have a 7-way. If you don't, you will need to start by installing a 4-way like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56434.
Once this is done, or if you already have a 4-way, you can upgrade to a 7-way with the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This kit comes with the adapter, wiring, and everything else required for installation.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR. The main unit mounts out of sight so only the control know will be visible in the cab of your RAV4. This keeps it out of the way and also gives it a nice clean look. The knob controls the braking power and acts as the manual override.
I have attached some installation videos for your reference.
