Will the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 1-1/4" Hitches Clear the Bumper & Hatch of a 2019 Subaru Forester

I have a 2019 Subaru Forester with a 1.25 OEM hitch installed by Subaru and would like to use the Kuat NV2.0 bike rack. Have you tried this and have any videos that will show that the rack will clear the bumper and hatch? Thank you

The Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack # NV22G you were looking at would not be the correct option because it fits 2" hitches. Instead you would want to use the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # NV12B, which is the correct option for the 1-1/4" hitch that you have on your 2019 Subaru Forester.

While we have not had a chance to try and shoot a video of the # NV12B (1-1/4"), we do have a video of the # NV22G (2"). The # NV12B (1-1/4") and the # NV22G (2") have the same clearances, the difference is the shank size for the hitch receiver.

I have included the video of the # NV22G (2") on a 2019 Subaru Forester. In the video you can see that it clears the bumper and when tilted, you can open the hatch. You will have the same clearances when using the # NV12B (1-1/4").
