Availability of Brake Controller With Multiple Profiles for 1999 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis
Question:
Do they make a dash mounted, or under dash mounted digital brake controller where I can have presets? I need different braking characteristics when Im in town vs on the highway. I would prefer to hit a preset rather than subjectively adjusting a knob for each driving condition.

Yes, there are a few brake controllers that can store different profiles/presets. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This brake controller can store up to 5 different trailer profiles. In your case it would be for the same trailer but with different settings based on the conditions.
You can mount it under the dash or on the dash as long as it is horizontally level and parallel with the direction of travel. For a plug and play installation you can use the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3035-P. This will plug into the port underneath the dash in your truck.
I have attached an installation video for your reference.
