Going from 4-Way to 7-Way on 1996 Ford Super Duty
Question:
Hello, i recently bought my dads old 1996 powerstroke. It has an older four prong round trailer plug and I’d like to update it to the modern 7 and 4 plug. I was hoping you could help me figure out what I’d need. Thank you

Expert Reply:
To adapt the 4-way of your 1996 Ford Super Duty to a 7-way you'd need to use the 7-way adapter part # 37185. The 4-way would plug right in and the trailer lighting functions would all be on the 7-way instead of the 4-way.
