Can a Weight Distribution System be Used on a Boat Trailer
Question:
Is there a weight distribution hitch available for a boat trailer?

Expert Reply:
Yes, a weight distribution system can be used on a boat trailer with an adapter. I recommend an Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System like part # EQ37120ET which is rated for up to 1,200 lbs of tongue weight. This is one of the best systems on the market which features top of the line sway control and a bolt-on install. This can then be used with the Pole-Tongue Adapter for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems part # EQ95-01-5950 for boat trailer applications. The correct weight distribution system will be chosen based on the loaded tongue weight of the trailer so if you can provide this for me, I'd b glad to make sure you get the correct system or you can simply choose from the list below.
Please note, weight distribution systems should not be used on a trailer with swing-away tongue.
