Will Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit Fit a 2023 Chevy Equinox

Question:

Nowhere does it say that this base plate was installed on a,2023 Equinox . The 2023 has top and bottom shutters. Does it fit 2023? Ready to purchase 2023 Equinox now.

The last model year that we have personally installed the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523193-5 on is a 2022 Chevy Equinox, as of January 2023. With that being said, Roadmaster has confirmed this base plate kit as a fit for the 2023 model as well which is why we have this in our fitguide.

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
