It looks like you have the Yakima PowderHound Ski Carrier and in which case you'd need to use the Lift Brackets for Yakima ReelDeal or Big PowderHound and PowderHound Carriers part # Y8860037 to extend the carrier up and offer more room for the ski bindings.

Hey Tim! Yes, the Rhino-Rack Ski and Fishing Rod Carrier #RR572 will fit the older Thule square crossbars. While this kit does come with T-Slot hardware, it also has the clamps which is what you'll use for the square crossbars.
