How To Install The Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC158778 Onto My Trailer
Question:
Do you have an installation guide for the Lippert pin box LC158778?

Expert Reply:
Installing the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC158778 onto your trailer is pretty easy. I recommend you get help from a friend though. First you need to remove your existing Lippert 1621 or 1621HD pin box from your trailer. The Trailair uses the same bolts that held on your original pin box so no additional hardware is required during the installation process. You just remove 8 bolts from the flange, and make sure to put the new pin box in the same holes as the old as there are multiple options.
The Trailair pin box already comes assembled and ready to install when taking it out of the box and ready to be put on your trailer. The Trailair is quite heavy so when installing put it on an elevated surface or have a friend help you support its weight during installation.
After the Trailair is mounted onto your trailer, the internal air bag should be inflated. Using the intake valve, inflate the air bag until the outer cylinder of the shock rises high enough to fully expose the yellow inflation indicator sticker.
If you have any further questions please feel free to reach back out to me anytime and I would be more than happy to further assist you in your future towing endeavors.
