Fit of Yakima HoldUp 2 # Y02443 Bike Rack on 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser
Question:
Will the Yakima Holdup 2 bike rack work on a 2000 Toyota Landcruiser? My receiver is flush with the rear bumper.

The Yakima HoldUp 2, part # Y02443 will fit most vehicles with a 2 inch receiver. The only thing that might prevent the rack from being used is a rear-mounted spare tire. My research indicates that the 2000 Land Cruiser did not have a rear mounted spare so you should be fine.
To be 100 percent sure, there is a measurement you can take. Measure rearward from the center of your hitch pin hole until you clear the furthest rearward portion of the vehicle (be it the bumper, spare tire, etc.) The shank of the accessory you are using needs to be longer than the measurement you take.
The HoldUp 2 for example, needs 12 inches of clearance to install and 7 inches to fold. As long as the measurement you take is less than 7 inches, the rack will work great for you.
I have linked you to a product demonstration video for the HoldUp, as well as to an FAQ article showing how to take the measurement I mentioned above.
