Can You Find The Replacement Key Number On The Fastway Hitch Locks?
Question:
I have a fast way trailer locks on my hitch. I lost both of my keys and have no idea what the key numbers are. Is there anyway I could find out what the key numbers were so I can order replacement keys? Is there a serial number located somewhere on the lock etc? I have no way of adjusting or removing my hitch off my truck without these keys. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The only way to know the key number for the Fastway Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set # FA86-00-3660 is with the key that opens the lock. They do not mark the lock in any way as that would provide a way for thieves to easily identify the key they need to open the lock. You will need to cut the lock off to be able to remove your current pins and install a new lock set. It is recommended to write down the key number in a safe location you will be able to find it if you happen to loose the keys in the future.
