How To Store 4 Snowbaords On The Yakima FreshTrack Ski/Snowboard Carrier

I have a 2010 chevy traverse. How would this install. Do I need cross bars or just install in side rails? And how does it hold 4 snowboard.

Expert Reply:
To store 4 snow boards with the Yakima FreshTrack 6 Ski and Snowboard Carrier - Locking # Y03093, you can either store them side by side, or if they are too wide, you'll have to stack them on top of each other in pairs.
Additionally, this carrier will need to be installed on a set of crossbars. If you do not have a set of crossbars already, I recommend checking out the:
-Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA137B-2 with the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRRLKVA, and the Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs # DK297.
These crossbars will easily clamp onto your existing side rails and will provide a mounting point for the Yakima FreshTrack.
