The E8 error on a Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB44FR indicates a wind pressure switch failure. This sensor is there to check that the unit is properly venting out of the exhaust pipe. Most likely the sensor itself is bad but there are a couple of things you can check before reaching out to Fogatti for a warranty call.

1. First check the power and ground. If the unit isn't receiving a full 12 volts or the ground connection isn't secure then the unit could throw up errors or function incorrectly.

2. Check the exhaust vent to make sure it's not being blocked or clogged with anything. If the vent is being blocked the exhaust will back up in the unit and cause an error.

@James The E5 code on your Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR or # LSB44FR means you're having a fan failure/no fan signal detected during start-up or water heater operation. You'll first want to ensure you're receiving 12v power to the unit. If you're not getting a full12 volts to the unit then you may need to switch to 14 gauge wire to ensure you're not getting a voltage drop off before reaching the unit. I also recommend removing all power from the unit for at least 15 minutes to fully reset the unit. If power isn't the issue you may have a bad control board and will have to reach out to the manufacturer, LaSalle Bristol, to get a replacement.
