Recommended Brake Controller for 2008 Holiday Rambler Ambassador
Question:
Looking for an appropriate brake controller for a 2008 Holiday Ramble Ambassador. Going to use a dolly to tow a 5000lb front wheel drive car. Website only shows options for 2015/16. Perfectly capable of modifying the wiring. Thx.

If you have air brakes on your motorhome, you can use the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C you were looking at. This will use the air pressure to determine the correct braking force for the tow dolly. If you do not have air brakes I have two additional options.
The first is the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR. This is a low profile option where the main unit mounts out of sight so only the control knob is visible. The knob controls the brake power and also acts as the manual override. If you have plenty of room and would prefer something with a display then the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 would be a better choice.
