Power Wiring for Replacing Jensen AWM910 with Jensen JWM60A
Question:
The awm910 has +12vdc ignition power, +12vdc battery power, and +12vdc trigger wire. The jwm60a has only +12vdc switched and amp remote+12vdc 100ma wire. How would you suggest I connect the power wires. Thanks,

Between the two stereos the 12 volt trigger wire and 12 volt remote wire are the same circuit so that wire. The rest would wire up the exact same. There should be an other 12 volt DC power wire connection to make on the # JWM60A though.
Basically the ignition wire tells stereo to turn on, 12 volt power is what actually powers it and keeps stereo memory settings, and trigger wire would be what would tell an external amp to turn on.
