Replacement Axle For a Boat Trailer With a Old Tapered Spindle of 1.5 Inches to 1.25 Inches
Question:
My boat spindle starts out at 1.25 and steps up to 1.50. The hub broke and I have no numbers to go by. Its an older trailer. It’s a standard 5 x4.5 bolt pattern. Help please

Based on your spindle tapering from a 1.5" diameter to 1.25" it sounds like a odd sized spindle which is no longer used. If you can provide me with some more information including the weight capacity and axle type on your trailer I can help you select a new axle like the Axle # e72GR. This particular axle has a hub face to hub face measurement of 89", spring center to spring center of 74" and is rated for 3,500lbs of trailer weight.
