Weight Distribution Recommendation for 10,400 lb GVWR Car Hauler Trailer

Hello, I have a car hauler that I use with a F-150 and I would like to get a weight distributing hitch. The trailer is a CH7020WR10L5 and I have a 2015 F-150 4x4 . Im planning on towing a 5klbs vehicle across the country and would like one that also has sway control. thanks

For your application I recommend going with the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # RP66084 along with the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # 19286. This system has a tongue weight range of 600 lbs - 1,200 lbs which is right in the wheelhouse of what you're needing. Keep in mind that a properly loaded trailer will have a loaded tongue weight that is 10-15% the weight of the trailer itself.

Not only does this system do a great job with distributing weight so your towing rig is level, it also has arguably the best in-class sway control system so you can be confident that you'll have control over your ride.
