Why Would Draw Tite Hitch Seem to Have Hitch Pin that is Too Small
Question:
I bought either a Curt or DrawTite 2 hitch for a 2011 Ford Escape from your company. I have only used it for my bike rake until today. I went to put a 5/8 pin through a ball hitch and the pin hole on the left side of the hitch does not accept a 5/8 pin. Is this to be expected? Was this miss drilled at the factory?

If you have a Draw Tite hitch for your 2011 Ford Escape like the # 75751 there is actually a second smaller hole drilled into the hitch tube that's to be used with a j-pin style anti rattle device. Most likely this is what isn't allowing your hitch pin to fit. I would recommend checking to make sure you are trying to use the larger hitch pin hole and not the smaller one.
