Replacement Trailer Brakes For a 2016 Aluma AE718TA Enclosed Trailer
Question:
I have a 2016 Aluma AE718TA enclosed trailer that l need brakes for. Which kit works with this trailer? I was told all 3500lb brakes are the same, 10x2.25. I use it often for snowmobiling so didnt know if economy brakes or the next step up would work. Thanks

Based on the information I could find your 2016 Aluma AE718TA will have came with tandem 3,500lb Dexter axles. This will have likely came with the Dexter Brake Kit # 23-26-27 but could have been upgraded to the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust # 23-468-469. We do have our etrailer Self-Adjusting Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA which is a more price conscious version of the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust. The self adjusting brakes maintain a better brake feel as the shoes wear and save you from having to adjust the brakes every 3,000 miles.
