"L" Error Code on Controller for SaltDogg Salt Spreader
Question:
I know the L code is for under 10v for more than 10 sec. But I have 12.43v at the battery all the way to the plug at the controller. I have both the positive and negative directly wired to the battery terminals with zero splices so I have a strong ground. I connected a working spare controller and got the same L code on both the spinner and the auger display. Any help is appreciated.

I spoke to Buyers about the issue you're having with your SaltDogg Salt Spreader and they informed me that you will want to apply power directly to both the spinner and auger to ensure they are working correctly. The systems all feed back into the controller so if there is an issue with either of these it will show as an error on the controller. The other thing you'll want to do is test the output wires from the controller, you'll want to ensure both the input and output wires have enough voltage. If there is good power going into the controller but not leaving then you know it's the controller that needs replaced, the Replacement Variable Speed Controller for SaltDogg Salt Spreader part # BP54FR.
If it turns out that another part is faulty, please just let me know what that is and I'd be glad to see if we have a replacement option for you.
