Wiring Recommendation for 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen Lights Being Towed on Trailer

I want to utilize the brake ,signal, and running lights on my 2015 Golf Sportwagon while towing it on a a lighted tow dolly behind my motorhome . Will the Hopkins 38955 Kit work for this use. I plan on using two flat 4 prong connections connected to the motorhome 7 prong outlet. Thank You in advance

You can use the Tail Light Isolating Diode System with Wiring Harness # 38955 on your 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen to activate the lights but I recommend using something with better wiring connections like the Curt Universal Tail Light Wiring Kit # C63CR instead.

The Curt system uses heat shrink butt connectors to help protect the wiring better and it operates essentially the same way as the Hopkins kit you were looking at.

We sure you have both this wiring and your trailer wiring plugged into your motorhome wiring so your trailer is lighting up.
