Are 50 Degree A-Frame Couplers Standard for A-Frame Trailers
Question:
Hello, interested in updating an older trailer frame with this product, and not sure if the angle would be correct, Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler w/ Jack Hole - eZ-Latch - Primed - 2-5/16 Ball - 21K Item # 12660-97SP, how would I determine correct angle, and I do have an image of the tongue IMG_20221206_141524.jpg thanks

Expert Reply:
The 50 degree a-frame trailer angle is the standard angle for a-frame trailers so it would be almost guaranteed that this Demco Coupler part # 12660-97SP would fit perfectly. I don't have a way to open your picture but as long as the frame members of the a-frame look to be 50 degrees (or you can use an angle finder to verify) this would fit.
