Comparing The Flint Hill Goods Steel Versus Aluminum Wheelchair Carriers With Ramps
Question:
Is the aluminum carrier FHG69ZR really better than the steel FHG77ZR.
asked by: Andrew G
Expert Reply:
The main benefit of the Aluminum Wheelchair Carrier # FHG69ZR is the longer folding ramp and it will not rust. This carrier has a 60" folding ramp that will make it easier to load your wheelchair or other wheeled items. The Steel Carrier # FHG77ZR only has a 48" ramp and the ramp does not fold up when stored. The aluminum carrier is slightly lighter at 77lbs versus the steel at 80lbs. A benefit of the steel ramp is it is able to be folded up for storage. This will reduce the length of your vehicle when not in use and makes it easier to install and remove from the receiver.
