Does the Lift Gate Function Still Work w/ the etrailer Hitch e34AR Installed on a 2023 Ford Edge?
Question:
Does the etrailer hitch affect the lift gate function when installed on a 2023 Ford Edge?

The hands free lift gate will still function when the etrailer Hitch item # e34AR is installed. Some of the range will be lost specifically around the 2" x 2" receiver. You will want to move your leg to the left or right of the hitch receiver to get it to work.
The etrailer Hitch item # e34AR is confirmed to fit your 2023 Ford Edge. It is custom fit and bolts to your Edge with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that is made in the USA. It has a 4,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 600 lbs maximum tongue weight. It is not rated to be used with a weight distribution system.
I have linked a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.
If you are planning on towing, you will also need a wiring harness item # C73FR for the Titanium models or item # 118805 for the standard models and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
