Parts Needed To Run RV Appliances Off Of Battery Power
Question:
I have a 1981 Attica rv can you please send me a picture on how to wire the converter to the fuse box to the battery or and how to use just the battery to run the electrical appliances inside the rv without using any power source outside.

The PD9140A converter you have will wire directly to the battery positive post and need to be grounded to the chassis and it appears that you have a mold plug coming out of the right side in the picture so you would need to run that to a dedicated circuit for your power center so that it can receive AC power and Convert it to DC power to charge your battery.
If you're wanting to power your appliances with the battery instead of using shore/generator power then you'll need to wire in an inverter like the Progressive Dynamics Pure Sine Wave Inverter w/ Transfer Switch - Remote - 2,000 Watts - 12V # PD64FR. An inverter converts DC current from your battery to AC current to power your appliances.
This will require you to either have a power center with two power legs or install a second panel like I did in the attached video below. Basically anything that you want to be powered when off of shore power you will need to be on that second panel so you'll need to find the appropriate size panel to accommodate the circuit breakers you'll need to do this.
If you have any questions please let me know.
