How To Flat-Tow Jeep Wrangler with Aftermarket Bumper and D-Rings
Question:
I have a Falcon All Terrain tow bar with safety cables and electrical cord. I want to flat tow a 2-dr 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sport with Bestop HighRock 4x4 High Access front bumper. The bumper has attachment points for D-Rings, so I need a way to interface tow bar’s collar assemblies to bumper’s D-rings. Also, I need recommendation for a braking system with light control for the Jeep.

The Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-522 can be used on an aftermarket off-road bumper with d-rings if they are a certain size. For this, you'd need the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts part # RM-035 for 3/4" thick d-rings or part # RM-035-1 for 1" thick d-rings. Please note, you should also check with the manufacturer to make sure the bumper can be flat-towed with.
In order to complete your setup I recommend the following:
RoadMaster 76" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables part # RM-645-76
Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-152-98146-7
Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System part # HM39524
