Replacement Socket Pins and Clips For Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Hitch Spring Bars

Question:

Is there an improved version of the 90-04-9216 clip with better retention? The clip seems so loose and easy to remove. I picture it potentially being pulled out if I ever drive over tall grass or brush while parking or someone pulls it out in a parking lot. Then the socket pin falls out, the spring arm slides... Thank you!

We do carry the Pins and Thumb Clips # EQ95-01-9415 to hold the spring bars in place if you prefer them over the Socket Pin # 90-03-9212 and Clip # 90-04-9216. I personally have never dealt with any issues of these pins and clips falling out. Since these are trunnion bars they sit higher on the hitch and are not as likely to just fall out. Typically the L-Pins and Clips # EQ95-01-9430 are the ones I see people replacing and that is generally due to them being misplaced rather than falling out.
