Replacement for Universal Wiring Harness w/ ModuLite and Brake Controller Harness 22550

Question:

I need a recommendation to repair/replace this model that I bought from etrailer in 2017. 22550 Universal Wiring Harness w/ ModuLite and Brake Controller Harness - 7-Way Trailer Connector I believe the module is bad or shorted out. Also need the break controller to finish the set up. Thanks

The Universal Wiring Harness w/ ModuLite and Brake Controller Harness 22550 you purchased back in 2017 was replaced by Tekonsha with the kit # 22551.

If you can test the wiring going into and coming out of the converter box then you might be able to cut and splice your connections to avoid running the new wiring but even then it might not be a bad idea to just upgrade everything while you're at it so you know you won't have to think about it for a while.

Unfortunately the converter box isn't something that's available on it's own so you'll have to get the whole new kit.
