Recommended Bike Rack for a Turboant Thunder T1 Fat Tire E-Bike
Question:
I have a turboant t1 fat tire ebike. It weighs 70lbs w/o battery, has 5inch wide tires and a 52inch wheel base. I also am looking to carry it behind my travel trailer. What are my bike carrier choices? The other thing I am considering is installing a hitch mount on the front of my 2005 Tahoe and then using the Hollywood rack.

Since your Turboant T1 Fat Tire E-Bike, has such a wide wheel base the best option would be to use the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes item # HLY84FR on the front of your 2005 Chevy Tahoe. This rack fits bikes with up to a 60" wheelbase.
The Sport Rider SE has a 80 lbs capacity per bike. It has a reinforced frame that makes it one of the strongest bike racks available and one of the few that has the strength to transport heavy E-Bikes.
This is a frame mounted bike rack so you won't have to worry about damaging the fenders on your Turboant Thunder T1 E-Bike.
The Sport Rider SE comes with craddles that accommodate tires up to 5" wide.
To add a front mounted hitch to your 2005 Chevy Tahoe, I recommend the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 31302. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to the front of your Tahoe with included hardware.
It has a vertical load limit of 500 lbs, which is equivalent to tongue weight on a rear hitch. This will give you plenty of capacity for your bike and rack.
I have linked an installation video below.
