Recommended Trailer Hitch For a 2022 Toyota RAV4

I see that there are class 2 and class 3 hitches available for my 2022 Toyota RAV4, which do you recommend?

For your 2022 Toyota RAV4, I recommend using a Class 3 hitch like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR. The reason for this is because the Class 3 hitch will have higher weight capacities, but more importantly it will provide you with a 2" hitch receiver. The 2" hitch receiver is the most common size used for hitch mounted accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers and ball mounts.
If you plan to do any towing, you can round out a tow package by adding the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56434 and the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
