Power On No Picture Swift Hitch Digital Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor SH02Digital
Question:
Purchased a Swift Hitch SH02D in December 2020 from etrailer.com and have been very happy with it. However the last time I tried to use it the camera would not connect to the receiver. Both units are charged and both power up normally but the receiver does not show any signal from the camera. I contacted Swift Hitch directly by e-mail but they did not respond. Are there any troubleshooting steps to follow? Or a way to reset the camera and receiver? Do you have any other thoughts on what the problem might be?

I am not aware of any repairing or reset procedure for the Swift Hitch Digital Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor part # SH02Digital. It sounds like there may be a hardware issue with the signal transmission which is unfortunately unrepairable. If you are outside of the one year warranty period you'll have to replace the system. If you're looking to get away from wireless, the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System part # HM50002 is a great wired option.
