Recommended Trailer Hitch For A 2016 Ford F-150 Towing A 2022 Winnebago Micro Minnie
Question:
I am trying to determine what I need for a hitch setup for a new RV Trailer. Specs show below. Something quiet, that allows tight turns, and backing that would support this rig. Any help would be appreciated. For your 2016 Ford F-150, I recommend checking out the:
-Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14017.
This trailer hitch has a maximum towing capacity of 10,000-lbs, a maximum tongue weight capacity of 1,000-lbs, and has a simple bolt-on installation.
Additionally you are also likely going to need a weight distribution system like the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # RP66084.
This weight distribution system has a tongue weight capacity of 1,200-lbs, a maximum GTW of 12,000-lbs, and will evenly distribute weight over your axles for improved stability and control.
