Driver Side Underbody Panel Won't Reinstall with Curt Hitch on 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
Just installed the eTrailer C13152 hitch on my 2014 Santa Fe Sport. It is perfect fit and it looks awesome. Do you guys have a photo or a template indicating which area should I need to cut trim to be able to reattach the driver side panel or fascia. The passenger side fits perfect. I saw one of your videos in which the installer modified the left under cover panel however it is not very clear which precise area needed to be trimmed. I have not installed the left driver side panel yet. You guys are doing an excellent job, keep it up. Kind regards,

The instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13152 on a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe don't indicate trimming for the driver side underbody panel but as you have come to find out as well as I, it does not go back into place easily. I have trimmed out two notches for the bolts in the past, there isn't a template for this, just hold the panel up where it goes and make a mark where the bolts come into contact then you can simply remove the material and reinstall.
