How Does the Yakima FatCat EVO 6 Ski and Snowboard Carrier Lock to the Rack
Question:
How do these actually lock to the rack? I see the keys to lock the rack to keep the skis or boards in the rack.

The Yakima FatCat EVO 6 Ski and Snowboard Carrier part # Y03096 has locks that not only secure the skis to the carrier but also the carrier to the rack. It's pretty obvious how the skis are locked to the carrier but not so much so about the carrier to the rack. If you take a look at the attached video around the 5:50 mark you will see the tension knobs being tightened. The tension knobs require the rack to be open for access and with these tight you won't be able to pry off the straps that hold the carrier to the rack therefore locking the carrier to the rack.
