Troubleshooting A Leaking Sprayer Hose On An RV Faucet

Question:

We have a new 2021 Genesis Vortex 3317VXL. The connection between the weight hose and sprayer came apart under the sink. Was unaware until we turned on the faucet and water went everywhere under the sink. It’s the black hose with metal connection. How does that connection come apart? How can I fix it or do I need a complete new faucet?

There are small flat sides on the lower portion of the connection that would allow you to tighten the hose with a crescent wrench. I took a few pictures of the Flow Max RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull Down Spout # LC719333 to show you these sides.

If your hose is leaking above this connection at the crimped on section then you would need to replace your faucet, but I'm willing to bet that the threaded portion just needs to be tightened.
