Recommended Trailer Valet To Use With an Airstream Globetrotter 27B Travel Trailer

Question:

I think this is the correct choice for our Airstream Globetrotter 27FBQ. We watched Mark Leach on KYD use this in a fairly recent episode. Could you please confirm that the 9000 lb capacity is appropriate? We are glad you sponsor Big Truck Big RV and KYD—this is exactly the way you reach us as customers.

I recommend stepping up to the Trailer Valet RVR12 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly # TV59FR due to the weight of your Airstream Globetrotter 27FBQ. This dolly is rated for trailers up to 12,000lbs and a tongue weight up to 1,200lbs. The RVR9 # TVRVR9 that you are looking at is rated for trailers up to 9,000lbs and a tongue weight up to 900lbs. Your Airstream has a GVWR of 7,600lbs and the tongue weight of 875lbs when it is loaded with propane and a battery. If you have more than 26lbs of additional gear inside the front of your trailer it will already exceed the maximum weight capacity for this dolly.
