How To Find The Correct Replacement Electric Brake Assembly For My Dual Axle Skid Steer Trailer

Question:

I have an old dual axle skid steer trailer Gehl if I remember correctly. used around the farm. I believe there is remains of brakes still on the axles but in bad shape. Is there a complete package available to install electric brakes onto a single axle to make it legal to use on the road again. Hopefully under $500 budget? Thank you in advance. I love your products.

When replacing the electric brakes on your Skid Steer Trailer we first need to know what your axle capacity is on your current axle. The capacity should located on a sticker in the center of the axle beam. With the capacity known you can then choose the correct braking system.

The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-468-469 is for a 3,500 pound axle. It will fit a 14 inch and 15 inch wheel and is for a 4 bolt mount flange. The mounting flange bolt hole distance is 2-7/8 inches apart on center.

I attached a review video link below.
