Transfering a B&W Companion Slider From 2017 Silverado To 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 Factory Prep/Puck
Question:
I just purchased a 2023 gmc sierra 2500 short bed crew cab I need the slider hitch for it. I have a bandW slider hitch from a 2017 silverado short bed with your BandW gooseneck hitch installed into the truck. Will this one work with the oem system on my new truck? Or will I need to buy a part to make my current BandW slider hitch fit into my new truck? Or DO I need to buy a whole new slider hitch designed for my new hitch system?

The only part you will be able to transfer from your Current B&W Companion # BWRVK3400 to your 2023 GMC Sierra 3500 short bed is the Head # BWRVC3006. You can either attach this to the new Base # BWRVB3775 which fits into the factory prep/puck system in the Bed of your Sierra. Or you can get a whole new B&W Companion OEM # BWRVK3775 and look at selling your old hitch as an entire package, giving you all new parts.
Be sure to check your Lube Plate # RP83002 to determine if it needs replaced on your trailer.
