To flat tow your 2008 Chevy Tahoe you will need a tow bar, base plate kit, wiring harness, charge line to keep your battery from dying, supplemental braking system, and high low adapter. I have linked the part numbers below along with any installation and review videos we have for the products.
Tow Bar - Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch item # BX7420
Base Plate Kit - Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BX1676
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
Charge Line Kit - Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25
If your 2008 Tiffin Phaeton 40 QSH has hydruallic brakes you will want the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251.
If you have air brakes on your motorhome you will need the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes item # SM99243.
I have linked a help article below on how to select the correct high low adapter that will work with your motorhome and tow bar. You will need to take a couple measurements to ensure you have the correct one. I have also linked our entire selection of high low adapters.
