Replacement Magnetic Door Switch That is Normally Open
Question:
I just ordered LC379146 to replace my old 1998 vintage controller. Just want to confirm that I can use switch LC374198 with that controller? I believe the switch needs to be normally open and close when door closes, but my version is backward from that. Thank you

The Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC374198 is a "normally closed" switch, so it would not be the correct switch to use with the Replacement Control Unit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379146 if you are needing a "normally open" switch.
Instead, you would want to use the Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC369299 which is "normally open".
