Power Source Options For Electric Trailer Jack # UF38-944017

Hello. Where does the electrical wiring of this jack MT70147 connect to? Is this shipped with these instructions? Thanks!

The Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack, part # UF38-944017, requires a 12V power source. You have a couple of options for getting power to the power jack. You can use a quick connect like part # DL24086, and run a wire from the towing vehicle battery, which would enable you to unplug the connector when you are not towing the trailer.
The other option for wiring is to attach the power jack wiring to the trailer mounted battery. The power trailer jack has an internal ground, so you will only need to worry about attaching the wire from the trailer jack to the positive post of the battery. You can add an on/off switch to the wiring that would allow you to turn off the power to the power trailer jack when desired.
The installation instructions are included with the power trailer jack.
