Replacement Surge Actuator for Reliable ACT 7.5K Actuator
Question:
I have a Reliable ACT-7.5K actuator on a boat trailer with a swing away tongue. Boat weight 4500 lbs. What is the best replacement actuator and especially one that would fit in the 3” x 5” tongue? Thanks

Best solution we have would be the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout - Bolt On - Disc # DX29FR which will fit over the 3 inch by 5 inch frame channel you have. This is a very similar design to what you have now and has the same weight capacity so it would work well. This is the disc brake version so if you have drum brakes instead you'd want the part # DX27FR.
