According to the owners manual for the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, you can only dolly tow if you have a 2-wheel drive model and the rear wheels would have to be the wheels off the ground. Our tow dollys are designed to be used with the front wheels off of the grounds.

The only way you can flat tow your 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L would be if you have the 4 wheel drive model with 4WD Low range. If you do not have the 4WD Low range then you would not be able to flat tow your 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and would likely need to trailer your 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L.

I have listed out the parts needed to flat tow your 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L below (as long as you have the appropriate model).

Base Plate Kit:
- Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM77ZR (if you have the Overland Model)

- Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM59ZR (if you have the Summit Model)

- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU47XR (if you do not have the Overland or Summit Model)

Tow Bar:

- Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-676 (for Roadmaster base plates)

- Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-677 (for Blue Ox base plates)

Tow Bar Wiring:

- Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154

Supplemental Braking System:

- Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251

You may also need a high-low adapter to keep you tow set-up level. I have included a help article that will help you determine this. I have also linked our selection of adapters, so that you can choose the correct one if one is needed.

You will want to consult the owners manual of your 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L to ensure you are doing everything that is recommended/required for flat towing your Jeep.
