Can The Drop Leg Pin Be Repositioned On The Bulldog 2 Speed Jack

Can you rotate the leg pin to the side where the crank rod comes out so its not facing forward

The drop leg pin holder for the Bulldog 2-Speed Jack # BD183416 is welded on so you could cut it off and reweld it to the other side of the jack and rotate the drop leg as well, but that would require quite a bit of work.
