Can I Apply the Manual Override w/out Engaging My Tundra's Brakes?
Question:
I have a rollback car hauler and to operate the rollback function of the trailer the trailer axle brakes must be able to be fully manually applied, by a brake controller, without the brakes of the tow vehicle being applied. Does the Redark Pro allow the trailer brakes to be manually engaged, while not applying the brakes on the tow vehicle?

Yes, the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller item # RED44FR does have a manual override you can engage without pressing the brakes on your 2015 Toyota Tundra. You would just need to press down firmly on the control knob to activate your trailer's brakes.
You can use the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED99FR to install this brake controller in your Tundra. This will keep you from having to cut and splice wires. It plugs directly into a port behind your dash.
