Comparing Drop of Curt Hitch C14108 and 14211 for a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD
Question:
What is the difference in the from the bumper on the curt 14108 vs 14211. They both state they will fit a 2001 Silverado 2500HD, but they look like the 14211 will sit lower below the bumper than the 14108. Which one would have the same below the bumper as the stock receiver for the 2001 Silverado 2500 HD?

In regards to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receivers for a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD - 6-1/2 Foot Bed, the part # C14108 will sit closer to the bumper like the factory hitch when compared to the part # 14211. The latter has a higher class rating which requires more material i.e. gussets so it won't sit as closer to bumper.
